Objectives: 

• This session will offer participants an opportunity to explore the extent and nature of racial disparities that exist in health outcomes. Participants will engage in discussion about the impact of racism on public health indicators such as infant mortality, maternal health, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, lead-poisoning, and COVID-19. The role of occupational therapists in recognizing and interrupting racism as well as developing an anti-racism disposition as a citizen and in practice will be explored.
