"Clinical Driver Evaluations" has been approved by GOTA's Continuing

Education Program for 10 direct contact hours.

After completion of the 10 hour course, participants should be able to:

Apply knowledge of medical conditions with implications to driving
Assess the cognitive, visual, perceptual, behavioral and physical limitations that may impact driving performance
Integrate the clinical findings with assessment of on-road performance
Synthesize client and caregiver needs and assist in decisions about available options
Coordinate with multidisciplinary providers to provide resources related to the needs of clients.

Ideal Therapy is hosting the Beckman Oral Motor Assessment & Intervention Course on October 24–25, 2025, in Jonesboro, GA. This two-day, hands-on intensive workshop offers 1.6 ASHA/AOTA CEUs and is open to licensed speech and occupational therapists. Participants will learn over 50 specific intervention strategies for improving facial muscle function for eating and speech.
