Student Volunteer Opportunities

lighthouse with sunset 2023 GOTA conference

October 27-29, 2023

Student volunteers provide an invaluable service to the GOTA Annual Conference Planning Committee through their enthusiasm and skilled service to the profession.  This year the Conference Planning Committee is seeking 12-15 student volunteers from the entry level occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant programs in Georgia to serve as active members of the Planning Committee.  These student members of the Planning Committee will work closely with other committee members in the planning and execution of the Annual Conference.  Student members of the Conference Planning Committee will have responsibilities during the Annual Conference but will have a reduced conference registration fee.

Benefits of serving as a member of the Conference Planning Committee

  • Reduced conference registration to attend the 2023 GOTA Annual Conference
  • Opportunity to network with leaders and members within GOTA and with other OT and OTA students
  • Opportunity to further develop leadership skills within the profession
  • Contribute to the success of the conference
  • Looks good on your resume!
