AOTA Representative Assembly is engaging in discussions and actions which could change entry level degree standards for both OT’s and OTA’s in the future.  Currently we have two entry levels for both degrees.

OTA: Associates or Bachelors

OT: Masters or Doctorate

Your RA will be voting at our next meeting, 4/03-4/04/19, which takes place at the AOTA national meeting in New Orleans, on whether to remain dual entry level point for each degree or recommend going to one entry level point for one or both degrees.
